3.6 Stages in a job seeking process
Job seeking as a process:
Finding a job needs a job seeking competence. This competence develops by experiences about looking for a work place and evaluating carefully, how you succeeded.

In Finland, people send a written job application to the employee when there is an open vacancy in an organization. In an advertisement of the open vacancy there is mentioned how to make a job application and where to send that. Nowadays, many job applications need to make electrically. Therefore, you need to have computer skills too.
In order to be successful when seeking a job you need to practice the skills related to that. At this page, you can find several assignments:
Assignment 1 (Your experiences finding a job)

Assignment 4 (Job advertisement)
Familiarize yourself with the advertisement at TE-service web pages: ilmoitus.

The next step would be to prepare yourself in a job interview:
After studying your job application, the employee choose those applicants they want to interview.
It is a good idea to prepare yourself for the interview.
Interviews are usually approximately half an hour to one hour. The employee usually want to define some matters in your experience and ask extra questions in face to face.
