Jamk Examstudios are open during the main campus, Library and Turbiini opening hours. To access the GP06 studio in the main campus library, you need a valid library card in case you are doing your exam during self-service time.
For entering the studio GP06, you need to have a valid Jamk library card. If you do not have it, you can get a mobile card conveniently from Tuudo or choose another Examstudio.
EXAM allows a student to take exams – at the time that suits him/her the best – using a computer in a video-monitored room.
Locations of Jamk Examstudios
There are three Examstudios at Jamk, all of them located in Jyväskylä:
- Main campus: BP16 is located in the B-wing’s P-floor.
- Main campus: GP06 is located in the library’s quiet zone in the G-wing’s ground floor.
- Lutakko campus: Turbiini K205 is located in the second floor at the Turbiini building, across the road from Dynamo building.

Opening hours of the Examstudios
BP16: Students may take exams in the Examstudio at the time of their choosing during the opening hours of the main campus.
GP06: Students may take exams in the Examstudio at the time of their choosing during the library’s opening hours. Examstudio GP06 is open during the customer service and self-service hours of the Main Library.
Turbiini K205: Students may take exams in the Examstudio at the time of their choosing during Turbiini’s main door opening hours.
NB! In order to enter the library during self-service hours, you will need a Jamk library card. If you do not have it, you can get a mobile card conveniently from Tuudo. Please, make sure at least two weeks before the exam that your library card is working and that your borrowing rights have not been blocked!
You may view all available exam times one month ahead from the current date by logging into the EXAM application. The times during which a course exam may be taken and the duration of the exam depend on the course. This information will be given on the course by the teacher.
